The Opportunity

As our Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll lead the development of user experiences that make cutting-edge AI feel effortless. You'll architect frontend systems that handle real-time audio transcription, stream AI responses, and create responsive interfaces across web and mobile. Core Responsibilities

Frontend Architecture & Development You'll architect and implement sophisticated React/TypeScript applications using modern patterns and tools like Tanstack and Redux. Your work will focus on creating intuitive interfaces for complex AI interactions including real-time transcription with WebSockets, streaming responses from language models, and audio processing workflows.

Product Excellence & User Experience Working closely with our product and design teams, you'll translate medical workflows into intuitive digital experiences. You'll implement feature flag systems for gradual rollouts, build enterprise-grade admin dashboards, and create consistent experiences across interfaces.

Technical Leadership & Innovation You'll establish frontend best practices, mentor other engineers, and drive technical decisions that scale our platform to millions of interactions daily. This includes implementing robust testing strategies, optimizing performance across devices, and ensuring our applications meet healthcare compliance standards while remaining delightful to use.

What We're Looking For

We're searching for a senior engineer who combines technical excellence with product thinking and can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where your decisions shape the product direction.

• Proven track record building production frontend applications serving thousands of users
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture including state management and real-time applications (WebSockets, streaming data, audio/video processing)
• Expertise in performance optimization, including bundle size, rendering, and network efficiency
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Technical Skills That Set You Apart:

• Experience with AI/ML integration in frontend applications
• Expertise in accessibility standards (WCAG, Norwegian Digitaliseringsrundskrivet)
• Experience with GDPR-compliant data handling in frontend applications
